NEW YORK, NY—It’s official: Jazz Chisholm Jr. has etched his name into the most exclusive chapter of New York Yankees history. On September 19, 2025, Chisholm launched his 30th home run of the season against the Baltimore Orioles, officially joining the 30-30 Club (30 Home Runs and 30 Stolen Bases).1
Chisholm finished the 2025 regular season with 31 home runs and 31 stolen bases, making him just the third player in the 124-year history of the Yankees franchise to achieve this feat.2
THE PINSTRIPE ELITE: 30-30 MEMBERS
Despite the Yankees’ reputation as the “Bronx Bombers,” the combination of elite power and elite speed has been surprisingly rare in New York. Chisholm now stands alongside only two other legends:

Note: While Alfonso Soriano achieved the feat twice, Chisholm is only the third individual person to do it while wearing a Yankees uniform.3
THE 2025 CONTEXT: A LEAGUE-WIDE POWER SURGE
Chisholm wasn’t alone in his historic pursuit. The 2025 season will be remembered as a “Golden Era” for the 30-30 milestone, with a record-breaking seven players reaching the mark across MLB.
The Yankees Pair: Chisholm became the second Yankee to reach 30-30 this season, following shortly after his teammate (and 2025 MVP candidate) made his own push for history.4

WHY IT MATTERS
For Jazz, 2025 was a year of redemption. After missing 28 games due to an oblique strain, his 30-30 finish is a testament to his high-ceiling athleticism. His performance earned him his first Silver Slugger Award and solidified his role as the “spark plug” of a Yankees team that looks to carry this momentum into the 2026 season.
