Mookie Betts and the Los Angeles Dodgers are coming off a second straight World Series win.

This time, they defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in seven games after trailing 3-2 in the series.

Betts finished the season with a .258 batting average, 20 home runs and 82 RBI.

It’s been several weeks since the season ended, and now Betts has been taking some time off to get out in the community.

Betts spent his Thursday with the Dodgers Foundation to help the 5050 Foundation and Brotherhood Crusade at a turkey drive. Thanksgiving is coming up in a week, and those in need stopped by to grab a meal and say hi to Betts.

“A gloomy day can’t stop us! Thank you @dodgersfoundation & @bhcrusade for another amazing turkey drive this year!” 5050 Foundation posted.

5050 Foundation also shared a video on its Instagram story of Betts holding bags and handing them out to those who drove up in cars.

Betts recently wrapped up his 12th season in the MLB and his sixth with the Dodgers.

He spent the first six seasons with the Boston Red Sox.

Betts is an eight-time All-Star, four-time World Series champion, an AL MVP, six-time Gold Glove winner and seven-time Silver Slugger Award winner.
