Tragedy Inside the Haunted Mansion: Disneyland Guest Dies After Mysterious Medical Emergency.NN

A woman died after suffering a medical episode while on the Haunted Mansion ride in Disneyland, officials said.
The guest, described as a woman in her 60s, was onboard the spooky attraction on Monday evening when she was found unresponsive at the end of the ride, according to the Anaheim Police Department.
Disneyland security provided CPR to the woman until Anaheim Fire & Rescue paramedics arrived to transport her to a local hospital, where she died.

The Orange County Sheriff-Coroner will determine the official cause of death, Anaheim PIO Sgt. Matt Sutter said.
The Orange County Register initially reported that the woman died of a suspected heart attack.
Disneyland officials confirmed that a guest required medical treatment and was taken to a local hospital.

The Haunted Mansion, which first opened in 1969, is one of the iconic rides at Disneyland. It takes guests through a manor filled with frights.
The ride is low-speed and meant to be enjoyed by attendees of all ages.
“The Haunted Mansion is dark and contains some mildly frightening scenes, but there is no gore. The ghostly residents are friendly and the ride is slow-moving‚” the park’s website states.
Along with a presence at the Anaheim park, there are Haunted Mansion rides at the Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom park in Florida, at Tokyo Disneyland and at Disneyland Paris.
The death comes just weeks after a man died from blunt force injuries while riding the Stardust Racers roller coaster at Florida’s Epic Universe theme park.
