Ana Navarro still isn’t over her interaction with Richard Gere.
The View panelist, 53, revealed in a new interview with the Daily Mail that she “literally almost fainted” when the 76-year-old actor stepped foot on the show’s set on Friday, Oct. 17.
Before the interview, Gere walked around the table of hosts and greeted them one-by-one, touching Navarro’s shoulders and giving her what she described later as a “neck rub” — prompting her to react accordingly on air.
Now, as Navarro explains, Gere is her “crush.”
“I didn’t realize how much I had a crush on him until he got there and he gave me a neck rub,” Navarro said. “He is 76 years old and he is so f—— hot.”

Navarro added that she didn’t think she “had to tell him” about it, either.
“I was in a trance. He must have known because he walked out and he gave me a neck rub, and I literally almost fainted,” she said. “I literally put my arms up and said ‘Richard take me right now.’ “
The revelation was all in good fun as Navarro is married to lawyer Al Cárdenas. She also acknowledged that Gere is “married” — referring to his wife Alejandra Silva. “We talk about him because his Spanish is really good,” she said to her View co-hosts.
“We started talking in Spanish. I think Richard is so ready for the Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime [show],” she joked. “Richard can keep up with Benito.”
The View panelist isn’t the only television regular who Gere has won over in recent weeks, as he appeared on the Today show the day prior to also discuss his new project with the Dalai Lama, Wisdom of Happiness, when he apparently got Savannah Guthrie flustered. While speaking with Guthrie, 53, alongside Jenna Bush Hager, Dylan Dreyer, Craig Melvin and Carson Daly, Gere jokingly gave her a hard time.
“It’s hard for Savannah to keep her concentration right now,” Melvin, 46, teased, before Gere eventually sat next to her and kept the bit going.
“I thought well at least I’m going to come over and sit with her for a second before she leaves for Tucson,” he said of her pending flight out of the studio, which was ultimately delayed.
For his part, Gere has been married to Silva since 2018. Gere and Silva, 42, most recently stepped out for a screening event in New York for Wisdom of Happiness on Friday, Oct. 17. He previously opened up about leaving the United States for a life in Spain with his wife in a January interview with Elle España.
“The truth is that you are seeing us in our momentum. We are happier than ever,” he said at the time. “[Alejandra], because she is at home and I because, if she is happy, I am happy.”
