In some positive injury news for the Philadelphia Eagles, starting TE Dallas Goedert was back at practice on Thursday after suffering a knee injury earlier in the week. Goedert did not participate in practice on Wednesday with said knee injury, but he was listed as a limited participant on Thursday, granting some hope that he’ll be able to suit up on Sunday. He could be seen walking with a coach during practice, gesturing to his knee.

Goedert missed the Eagles Week 2 game against the Chiefs with a knee injury, though he returned to the field for Weeks 3 and 4. His game status for Week 5 against the Broncos is still unknown — if he doesn’t practice on Friday, he’s unlikely to play. If he’s again limited in practice, it’s probably more of a 50/50 shot. The Broncos are a tough team, and the Eagles will hope Goedert is able to suit up and play.

On the season, Goedert has 12 catches for 113 yards and three touchdowns. The former second-round pick out of South Dakota State has made a name for himself in the NFL, having been Philadelphia’s starter for years. If he can’t go on Sunday, it would be up TEs Grant Calcaterra and Kylen Granson to fill the void his absence would create.
