Taylor Swift Opens Up About Her Mom’s Priceless Reaction to the Song Everyone Knows Is About Travis Kelce.NN

Taylor Swift shared the adorable (and innocent!) reaction her mom, Andrea Swift, had to her new song “Wood” — the raunchy “Life of a Showgirl” track about Travis Kelce’s “manhood.”
“She thinks that the song is about superstitions, which it absolutely is,” the Grammy winner joked on Monday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “Morning Mash Up.”
“That’s the joy of the double entendre. You can read that song for people, and it just goes right over their heads.”

Swift added, “You see in that song what you want to see in that song.”
The “Lover” songstress, 35, stepped into a new era when she released the smutty song on her 12th studio album last Friday.
She started the track by singing about her ex-boyfriends, saying, “Daisy’s bare naked / I was distraught / He loves me not / He loves me not.”

“Penny’s unlucky / I took him back and then / Stepped on a crack / And the black cat laughed,” she continues, adding, “And, baby, I’ll admit / I’ve been a little superstitious.”
Swift then alludes to when she met Kelce, 36, singing, “Fingers crossed until you put your hand on mine / Seems to be that you and me, we make our own luck / A bad sign is all good, I ain’t gotta knock on wood.”
Elsewhere in the track, she sings about “a hard rock” and “magic wand” before cheekily referencing the Kansas City Chiefs star’s podcast.

“New Heights of manhood / I ain’t gotta knock on wood,” she croons.
Swift also alluded to her relationship with Kelce in several other tracks, including “Honey,” “Fate of Ophelia” and “Wi$h Li$t.”
The A-list couple started dating over the summer of 2023 and got engaged in August.

The athlete and “Cruel Summer” singer announced their engagement via Instagram with sweet photos of the proposal, captioning them, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.”
Insiders told Page Six that Swift and Kelce plan on tying the knot in Rhode Island, where the pop star owns a multimillion-dollar home, next summer.
Swift, however, shut down “offensive” theories that she would halt her music career when she gets married on the “BBC Radio 2” show on Monday.
