She’s Faced the Jokes Her Whole Life—Now Dolly Parton Turns Them Into Her Funniest Truth Yet. ML

The country music legend believes her ample bosom has helped her a great deal in her career — her bust has become one of Dolly Parton’s most recognizable trademarks.
The 62-year-old singer, who has undergone several breast enhancement surgeries, now sports a size DD chest. Dolly said, “I have to say, my breasts have served me well. I don’t even know whether I’m supporting them or they’re empowering me. Of course, I’ve spent plenty of time and money keeping them in shape.”

However, the golden-voiced star hasn’t always been pleased with their size. In 2004, she even considered breast reduction surgery to ease the strain on her back. At the time, Dolly admitted, “My breasts are killing me. I don’t know how much longer I can stand the pain. They made my image, but I’ve paid a high price for it.”

Born in 1946, Dolly Parton is a singer, songwriter, actress, author, and well-known philanthropist. Her chest has become even more famous than she is. The country superstar, whose voluptuous figure has helped shape her public persona, has won seven Grammy Awards and produced numerous country hits throughout the 1960s, 70s, and 80s.
