Seth Meyers Uncovers the Subtle Clue Hinting Trump’s Already Planning His Stay Beyond 2029.NH
“Late Night” host Seth Meyers on Tuesday clowned Donald Trump after a crew began to demolish the White House’s East Wing to make way for the president’s massive, $250 million ballroom.
“You guys, I don’t think he’s planning on leaving in three years,” quipped Meyers of Trump, who has repeatedly entertained running for a third term in 2028 (and remaining in office “4EVA”) despite it being unconstitutional.
“If I had three years left on a lease, I wouldn’t even put up a shelf.”
Meyers later turned to dozens of U.S. airports, refusing to play Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s propaganda video at security checkpoints, where she blames Democrats for the ongoing government shutdown.
“It just really riles up the dogs,” joked Meyers of the clip from Noem, who used a 2024 book to describe killing her “untrainable” dog, Cricket.
