Micah Parsons dominates October — the unstoppable force who just claimed the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Month crown.

Green Bay Packers defensive end Micah Parsons was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for October of the 2025 season.
Parsons played in only three games during the month because of the Packers’ Week 5 bye, but he still produced 18 pressures, 4.0 sacks, five tackles for loss and six quarterback hits as Matt LaFleur’s team went 3-0. Parsons was the NFC Defensive Player of the Week in Week 7 after producing a career-high 3.0 sacks against the Arizona Cardinals, and he had a sack of Aaron Rodgers on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 8.
“He’s been outstanding,” coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday.
According to Next Gen Stats, Parsons leads the NFL with 44 total pressures in 2025, including the 11 he produced against the Cardinals.
Parsons previously won NFC Defensive Player of the Month in September of 2023.
Parsons is the first Packers defensive player to win the award since Xavier McKinney in October of last year and the first Packers pass-rusher to win the award since Clay Matthews in September of 2010.
