Joy Behar is not letting Donald Trump forget about Stormy Daniels.
The President and his ongoing construction of the White House East Wing was a Hot Topics on The View on Thursday, October 23. They played a series of clips of Donald Trump talking about the construction and Whoopi Goldberg stated beforehand that Trump keeps changing the plan. The first clip went from Trump saying the construction would not interfere with the original building to him saying they are building a ballroom to another of him saying the nearly $300 million cost is coming from him and his donors.
There was a final clip in the montage of him berating a journalist about his response to people criticizing his lack of transparency regarding the construction. After the last clip finished playing, Joy quipped, “I hope there’s a Stormy Daniel wing at least.”
The room burst into laughter and the rest of the ladies – Whoopi, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farah Griffin – were chuckling as well. Alyssa Farah said, “just going to let that sit.”

During another moment, the comedian said there was a difference between the construction Obama did of adding a basketball court and what Trump is doing. She said Obama’s is like “Bath Fitters” and putting in a bathroom versus “knocking the whole house down.” Whoopi followed up, saying that Joy “was on fire today.”
Stormy Daniels, born Stephanie A. Gregory, is an adult film actress who alleged that she had an affair with Trump in 2006. She also claimed that the businessman paid her $130,000 to keep quit about the affair through his personal lawyer Michael Cohen.
Trump denied the affair and accused Stormy of lying. In March 2023, Trump was charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to hide the payment made to Stormy as hush money to stop her from talking about the two of them engaging in sex.The ladies spoke about the Trump’s construction of the White House East Wing
The Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, also accused Trump of falsifying business records to conceal other crimes to influence the 2016 presidential election.
The hush money trial began in April 2024 and Stormy testified in the trial. She detailed her alleged sexual encounter with Trump in 2006 in his hotel room.
In May 2024, Donald Trump was found guilty of all 34 felony counts. Despite being charged, Trump was not sentenced to any jail time. Judge Juan Merchan permitted the then-president-elect an unconditional discharge, which is a sentence where the defendant stays a convicted felon but they face no further penalties, fines or any time in prison.
