Jimmy Kimmel shocks fans again as he repeats five words he swore he’d never say — twice in one month.NH

Blame the full moon.
Jimmy Kimmel found himself actually agreeing with a MAGA lawmaker on his show Tuesday night, to his own shock and dismay. And to make it even weirder, it was the second time in a month he found himself in this situation.

The late night host was discussing the ongoing government shutdown during his opening monologue when the phenomenon occurred.
“The reason the Democrats refuse to sign this budget agreement is because it will cause millions of Americans to lose their health care,“ Kimmel said about the crux of the issue. “Republicans deny this; they say it won’t hurt anyone at all. And if you had any doubt that they were lying before, consider this shocking post from the gentlewoman from Georgia…”
Kimmel was — surprisingly — referring to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who on Tuesday attempted to extinguish her party’s gaslighting on the spending bill that has caused the government shutdown.
The main issue is that Democrats want concessions on health care, especially the extension of Affordable Care Act subsidies set to expire at the end of the year. Republicans, on the flip side, have come up with the misleading claim that the left wants to give illegal immigrants free health care.

But in a post on X Tuesday, Greene broke with her party by writing that she was “absolutely disgusted that health insurance premiums will DOUBLE if the tax credits expire this year.”
“I’m going to go against everyone on this issue because when the tax credits expire this year my own adult children’s insurance premiums for 2026 are going to DOUBLE, along with all the wonderful families and hard-working people in my district,” she wrote.
Stunned by Greene’s post, Kimmel responded on his show Tuesday by saying, “I know this sounds crazy, but I will say it for the second time in a month: Marjorie Taylor Greene is right.”
“I know,” Kimmel joked, “I need something to wash out my mouth.”
The late night host had previously agreed with Greene in early September, when the Georgia Republican urged Trump to meet Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking victims in the Oval Office.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this,” Kimmel responded at the time. “But good going, Marjorie Taylor Greene.”
