Jelly Roll admits he cheated on Bunnie Xo — calling it the darkest mistake of his life and one he’ll never forget.NN
The “Wild Ones” artist opened up about his affair on Tuesday’s episode of the “Human School” podcast.
“I don’t talk about this publicly at all, but one of the worst moments of my adulthood was when I had an affair on my wife,” he admitted.

Jelly Roll — born Jason Bradley DeFord — said that he has worked hard to “repair their relationship.”
“The repair has been special. And we’re stronger than we could have ever been,” he shared.
The rapper’s transgressions occurred when he was spending time with people who were a bad influence.

“I was hanging around a bunch of people that were cheating on their wives,” he said. “When I was doing cocaine, I was hanging around a bunch of people that were doing cocaine. When I was drinking a lot, I was hanging around a lot of people that were drinking a lot.”
Jelly, who is now sober from hard drugs, explained that he was keeping “s—ty” people around him because he was proud of having “long-standing friendships.”
“I used to be proud of long-standing friendships just because they had a number attached to ‘em,” he said. “Horrible humans. But I would just be proud to say, ‘That dude’s been with me 12 years.’”

Now, the Grammy-nominated singer surrounds himself with people who inspire him.
“I wanted to be friends with people I wanted to be like,” he said.
Jelly, 40, and Bunnie, 45, met in 2015 and tied the knot a year later. They hit a rough patch in 2018 when they separated due to Jelly’s affair. However, they rekindled their love and reunited later that year.
Wanting to celebrate their enduring love, they renewed their vows in 2023.

The “Dumb Blond” podcast host rarely touches on Jelly’s infidelity, though she did address their split in a TikTok post.
“Who knew that us breaking up in 2018, me moving back to Vegas & you coming to get me back – would have put us on this wild journey called life,” Bunnie wrote in a February 2023 TikTok post.
“We finally committed to each other & did everything we promised each other the first night in 2016,” she continued. “Our castle in the sand had to crumble so we could rebuild on solid ground. I yuh you so mushhh.”
Jelly has two children from previous relationships.
