Micah Parsons Is Now a Packer, and This Shocking Move Reveals Exactly What the Team Is Betting On.QQ

That's why the Packers traded for Micah Parsons image

Maybe the Green Bay Packers shouldn’t have been allowing the Arizona Cardinals, sans Kyler Murray, to hang around.

But that’s the way Sunday’s game was, and so the Packers needed one more play by their defense.

On cue, there was Micah Parsons with a sack of Jacoby Brissett to help ice the game in a 27-23 Green Bay win.

Parsons showed, in a close game, why the Packers traded for him from the Dallas Cowboys and then gave him a big contract.

Even when everyone knows it’s coming, Parsons can deliver.

He finished Sunday’s game with three sacks. NFL.com’s Eric Edholm wrote that this was “arguably his biggest game for the Packers.”

Parsons generated 10 QB pressures overall, a huge number.

He was pulling out all sorts of moves to put the Cardinals’ offensive linemen into a torture chamber.

Parsons started fast with Green Bay after the trade, but he’d been pretty quiet since then.

He was never going to be held down for too long, though. Parsons remains one of the most special defensive talents in the NFL.

The Packers saw on Sunday just how beneficial that can be to their football team.
