14-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift has attended many NFL games, including the last two Super Bowls, over the last two years, cheering on her now-fiancé, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Now, she’s received an invitation from a new suitor: Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Speaking on his weekly segment on 104.3 The Fan in Dallas on Thursday, Jones made clear he wants Swift in attendance when the Cowboys host the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day.
“We would have an elaborate seat for her if she should attend the game. There’s nobody a bigger fan of Taylor Swift than I am,” Jones said of Swift. It comes after Patrick Mahomes explained how the Chiefs would support her new release.
“More importantly, we all are [fans of Swift].. So, I appreciate, buying through her Kansas City connection there, the kind of interest that she has and that she has brought to the NFL. I can’t get enough Taylor Swift.”
Swift’s new studio album “Life of a Showgirl” was released on Friday. She originally announced the album’s release date on Kelce’s hit podcast ‘New Heights.’
She has undoubtedly brought new viewers to the NFL over the last few years, a period during which the league has experienced further growth in viewership.

Jones praised Swift’s impact on the NFL when she first started attending Chiefs games in the fall of 2023. “It is hard to move that needle dramatically on a great feeling, a great attraction in the NFL,” the longtime Dallas owner said.
“We get a lot of eyeballs. She blew it off the charts. It is amazing. It makes you smile. But it just shows the depth of her following, especially with her core constituency.”
“We all, I think, felt the same way when she’s sitting up there with [Travis Kelce’s] mom and she’s going nuts when he’s playing and those hearts are popping out everywhere. How do you not get that? That’s called images right there.”
For the Dallas-Kansas City game to set a single-season viewership record (which it certainly could do), Jones’s team will need to remain in the playoff hunt.
The Cowboys are 1-2-1 through the first four weeks of the 2025 season after a dramatic 40-40 last Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Quarterback Dak Prescott looks to have returned to his All-Pro form, though the Dallas defense looks shaky at all levels, particularly in the secondary.
