ESPN’s Schefter steps in to silence A.J. Brown trade chatter, leaving rumors more explosive than ever.QQ

Despite some speculation around A.J. Brown’s trade status, the Philadelphia Eagles might not move him.

The Nov. 4 NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching, which has everyone trying to figure out whether or not the Philadelphia Eagles will deal their star wide receiver, A.J. Brown.
And ESPN’s Adam Schefter is here to clear the air after The Athletic’s Dianna Russini stirred the pot over the weekend.
“Teams still are eyeing Brown as the deadline approaches, according to sources, but the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles are not looking to move the three-time Pro Bowler,” Schefter wrote in his latest insider article.

Schefter adds that general manager Howie Roseman and the Eagles are always open to listening to trade offers, but it would take a “blockbuster” offer to move Brown; that is highly unlikely to even happen.
“The Eagles would be willing to listen to any trade offer, but sources believe Philadelphia would not be willing to part with Brown for anything less than a blockbuster offer, which is not expected to be forthcoming,” Schefter added.
The Eagles value A.J. Brown way too much to let him go that easily
Brown has recently expressed frustration across social media, which has fueled these rumors, but the team actually moving him wouldn’t be as easy as some might think due to financial reasons.
It’s easy to see why Brown might want out of Philly amid the team’s offensive issues, but the Eagles value their top wide receiver way too much to let him go. Brown has also expressed love for Philly.
That’s the point Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was trying to make during the NFL owners’ fall meetings.
“We do what’s best for the team,” Lurie said, via Diannia Russini. “We don’t even consider it seriously unless it’s best for the Eagles. We will always do what gives us the best chance of winning big. Everything else is secondary.”
In seven games so far, Brown has hauled in 29 passes for 395 yards and three touchdowns.
