Eagles quietly land a shock-value steal built to elevate Jalen Hurts, fortify the defense, and gamble on rare upside in a bold 2026 three-round mock draft.QQ

The Eagles would be smart to make these selections in the 2026 NFL Draft if possible.D

The Philadelphia Eagles are still firmly in the playoff hunt, but there is plenty of reason to look toward the 2026 NFL Draft in some capacity. For Nick Sirianni’s team, their notable roster holes are quite clear this season, so mock drafts can show some potential prospects that will help them craft another strong group for next season and beyond.
Eagles get lucky in round one of 3-round 2026 NFL mock draft
AJ Schulte here at A to Z Sports unveiled a full 3-round 2026 NFL mock draft earlier this week. Check out Philly’s decisions in each round from day one and two in his exercise below.
Could The Eagles Bring Back Frank Reich As A Consultant?Could The Eagles Bring Back Frank Reich As A Consultant?
22. Philadelphia Eagles: Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State
“The Eagles can’t solve their biggest issue until they move on from Jalen Hurts’ monster contract, but I feel like after this season, they won’t tolerate another season of A.J. Brown being a “distraction” (even if he is correct) and could trade him out, especially if that free cap space can be used to retain Jaelen Phillips. Thus, they’ll need a replacement for Brown to fit in Philadelphia’s go-ball, punkin-chunkin style of offense they have built for Hurts.” — Schulte
The future of A.J. Brown in Philly is cloudy at best, as Schulte noted. I love the idea of Tyson’s timing and route running alongside some of the other talent on the Eagles offense. While there may be other roster needs that are more glaring for the Eagles, Tyson is a top ten prospect in this class when healthy. As long as his medicals check out, there is really no reason he should be on the board here in the 20’s.
Howie Roseman sticks to his philosophy and takes the top available player that the rest of the NFL passed on to this point.
Day two picks make plenty of sense for both offense and defense
53. Philadelphia Eagles: Dillon Thieneman, SAF, Oregon
Love this value. I believe that Thieneman is the second-best safety in this class and would make sense as a first-round pick. Normally, he’s going in this range as of now, though. He would immediately step in as a more NFL-ready option than other prospects at the position. The secondary for Philly lacks depth, and this pick would help in year one for him.
69. Philadelphia Eagles (via NYJ): Michael Trigg, TE, Baylor
This is a swing on potential when it comes to Trigg. His size and willingness to fight for the football would be a bit of a different look when it comes to Eagles pass catchers. With Dallas Goedert not under contract past this season, the TE position may be a massive concern in the offseason. For a player who looms over many cornerbacks, he also has nifty footwork and moves much smoother than you would expect. This fit makes plenty of sense.
This group of picks for the Eagles is a great blend of upside and roster-building for the organization. In the draft, you simply cannot focus on one or the other. Philadelphia didn’t in this mock draft scenario, and fans should appreciate that.
