Cowboys Fans Can Breathe a Little Easier as the Team Shares a Promising Update on CeeDee Lamb’s Injury

The Dallas Cowboys‘ offense didn’t skip a beat in their Week 5 game against the New York Jets without the presence of injured star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. But fortunately, based on a new update on Monday about Lamb’s recovery process from his high-ankle sprain, it sounds as if the Cowboys offense may be back at full strength in short order.
Even without Lamb each of the last two weeks, the Cowboys have shown off an offense that is as dynamic as any in all of football, putting up 40 and 37 points respectively in Week 4 and Week 5.
Considering the kind of impact Lamb has had on the Cowboys success in recent years, putting up four straight 1,000-yard seasons, it goes without saying that getting Lamb back into the fold is near the top of the team’s priorities moving forward.

While this update is obviously a promising one, it does still cast doubt on Lamb’s potential availability for the team’s Week 6 matchup against the Carolina Panthers, who have had a top-10 pass defense in total passing yards allowed per game through the first five weeks of the season.
Then, in Week 7, the Cowboys host the Washington Commanders for an NFC East showdown. So naturally, given how tight things are near the top of the NFC East standings thus far, Dallas fans will certainly be hoping that Lamb will be able to go by the time these two rivals face off.
