Another crushing Eagles collapse is exposing a locker room crisis so deep it’s now forcing a culture shift nobody wanted to admit was coming.QQ

The rabbit is gone from the Eagles locker room.

There is no doubt at this point that the Philadelphia Eagles are looking for answers. Fans are getting flashbacks to the 2023 regular season due to Philly’s current three-game losing skid. The streak has been peppered by offensive inefficiency, Jalen Hurts turnovers, and special teams gaffs. Before their Monday night matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14, the Eagles deployed a new locker room puzzle piece. The “Positivity Rabbit” famously joined them in the locker room.
It was a bit of a feel-good aspect to create a lighter mood around the players and coaches amid a tough stretch where fans have not been happy. The report of the rabbit’s arrival came on December 6th. Now, it is already gone – just like that.
Eagles remove “Positivity Rabbit” from locker room after just one game
After the defeat at the hands (well, hand) of Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, the rabbit is no longer in the locker room, via Jeff McLane. The Eagles quickly changed their hopeful route to getting back on track, clearly. Its stint in the locker room lasted just seven calendar days.
Social media loved the gimmick. It was random and unexpected. For Eagles fans, they could see a glimmer of fun that they hadn’t seen on the field without the team even playing a snap. According to Ashlyn Sullivan, the offensive line assured her that they weren’t sad ahead of bringing in the rabbit. Rather, they just wanted a good vibes bunny. That’s both peculiar and hilarious, honestly.
We will see if Philly attempts any more gimmicks or unique tricks to try to improve the overall morale of the team. Winning some games down the stretch is the most natural way to accommodate that, though.
The hopes that the rabbit would “emphasize good vibes and positivity” did not come to fruition. Now, Philadelphia is in the middle of preparing for a wintery matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 15.
