She added that Sweeney “gets all this criticism of, ‘She only gets big parts because of her sexuality and because she shows her big boobs.’”

However, Griffin insisted that the “Euphoria” star is “a phenomenal actor.”

She noted that “women can’t win,” pointing out that when Sweeney gained weight for her role in “Christy,” haters trolled the Emmy nominee for “let[ting] herself go.”

Griffin noted, “She’s not hot enough in this, but then in real life, she’s hot, and you’re gonna be mad at her?”

Elsewhere in the conversation, the political strategist quipped, “Brad Pitt doesn’t worry about being too hot for roles.”

While the commentators did not specifically dissect the headline-making sheer gown Sweeney smoldered in at Wednesday’s event, Ana Navarro hit out at barely-there looks in general.

“We often hear about these women who don’t want to be sexualized and don’t want to be seen just for their bodies, but more and more I look at red carpets and these gorgeous women are showing up in literally what looks to me like bathing suits with a sheer cover on top,” the 53-year-old said.

Sara Haines, meanwhile, touched on “all the naked” looks she’s seen recently, while labeling Jennifer Lopez a “good example” of how to stay “classy” while showing some skin.

“She wears things that show her figure, but … she looks like a boss,” Haines, 48, explained. “I don’t judge anyone that wants to wear [revealing clothes], but when you go somewhere, you can own all the things you bring to the table.”

The talk show segment came on the heels of Megyn Kelly railing against Sweeney’s Christian Cowan ensemble.

“I object to this. I disapprove of the dress,” the “Megyn Kelly Show” host, 54, said on Thursday, speculating as to whether the “White Lotus” alum had been “misled” into making the “rare misstep.”

Sweeney has not addressed the controversy over the sparkling number.
