Eagles Nation Erupts as Brandon Graham Confirms the One Thing They’d Been Praying Was True.QQ

Eagles fans have more than just Howie Roseman to thank for BG’s comeback.

Philadelphia Eagles fans no longer have to speculate because the rumors about Brandon Graham’s potential comeback have finally been answered.
Graham said he had some special news for fans on Tuesday morning, and the news is that he is indeed coming out of retirement for one last ride.
“Now you can hear it from me, I’m back one more time,” Graham said on his Unblocked podcast. “I’m excited, no expectations, just trying to help the team.”

Brandon Graham never really wanted to retire in the first place
Graham went on to admit that he never actually wanted to retire in the first place, but going out as a two-time champion was the perfect storybook ending.
“Months went by, after we won the Super Bowl. Of course, I’m still working out, still training and stuff,” Graham said. “But it’s more like I’m enjoying myself, too. Making sure I try to enjoy myself, play a lot of golf. We created a new schedule of what it’s going to be like when you’re done [playing].”
Still, he really missed football, but when Howie Roseman called his agent before the start of the 2025 NFL season, Graham admitted he wasn’t ready to make a comeback. That’s when the Eagles signed Za’Darius Smith.
“After Week 1, I had started praying about it,” Graham said. “Like, man, Lord, if another opportunity come, what should I do? Because I’m not trying to hurry up and rush back into comfort. Because of course [not playing] is uncomfortable, but I was ready to deal with it.”
And then another opportunity came when Smith made his retirement announcement in the midst of the season. That was Graham’s sign.
If you’re looking for who really deserves the credit, aside from Roseman’s consistency, it’s Graham’s wife, Carlyne.
“My wife wanted me to do whatever [I wanted],” Graham said. “She’s been so supportive of me, the whole situation, regardless. All she wanted to do was make sure my mental health is good. That’s where, when they first came, that’s all we were talking about for the past couple of months. If another opportunity comes, what are you thinking? Of course, she supported me. But I had to talk it through for real. Because like I say, I just wanted to make sure I’m making the right decision and doing the right things. And not just rushing back into something because it’s comfortable.”
At 37 years old, Graham has zero expectations for what this 16th NFL season might bring.
“This is the only time in life that you can do it because after a while, ain’t nobody calling no more,” Graham said.
