Morgan Wallen Bat-Throwing Incident Strikes José Bautista’s Wife; Friends Plan Intervention, RadarOnline Reports
Morgan Wallen, the country star best known for the hit “Last Night,” has sparked fresh concern among friends and industry insiders after a recent onstage stunt accidentally struck the wife of former MLB player José Bautista, RadarOnline.com reports.

According to sources and a clip posted to Bautista’s wife Neisha’s Instagram, Wallen attempted to mimic Bautista’s famous bat flip by hurling a bat. The object veered sideways and struck Neisha Bautista as she was recording the moment on her phone. In the video, Neisha lets out a sharp cry and drops her phone; a bystander is heard asking, “S—. You okay?” She responds that she is fine.
“Morgan is saying he didn’t mean to hurt anybody, but that doesn’t excuse his actions,” an insider told RadarOnline, expressing alarm over what they described as a pattern of careless behavior. The source added that friends and family are “so concerned they’re planning an intervention before it’s game over,” arguing Wallen “needs to get his act together before it’s too late.”
The incident is the latest in a string of controversial episodes for Wallen. Earlier this year he abruptly walked off Saturday Night Live before the final credits rolled, surprising the audience and host Mikey Madison. In April 2024, a separate incident in Nashville saw Wallen allegedly throw a chair off the sixth-floor rooftop of country star Eric Church’s bar, narrowly missing two police officers below. He was charged with felony reckless endangerment and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct; he later pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment and received seven days in a DUI education center and two years of probation under a plea deal.
Previous controversies include a 2021 video in which Wallen used a racial slur while partying with friends; the episode led to radio blacklists and suspensions from his label. In 2020 he was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct after being removed from Kid Rock’s Nashville bar; those charges were later dismissed.

“His careless behavior keeps happening again and again and his pals fear he’s going to destroy his career,” the insider said. “At 32, he’s too old to be doing dumb stuff like this.” The same source added that many in the industry feel an intervention is necessary to prevent further self-inflicted damage to Wallen’s reputation and career.
RadarOnline and MEGA provided the original coverage and imagery of the incidents.
