Two comedy giants one stage one cause — Conan O’Brien and Stephen Colbert light up NJPAC for Montclair Film.NH

Stephen Colbert and Conan O’Brien will participate in a Montclair Film fundraiser at NJPAC in Newark, Dec. 7.

Stephen Colbert — whose past Montclair Film fundraisers have included conversations with Meryl StreepMartin ScorseseJulia Louis-Dreyfus and others — will talk with his former fellow late-night talk show host Conan O’Brien at Prudential Hall at NJPAC in Newark, Dec. 7.

The event will be titled “An Evening With Conan O’Brien and Stephen Colbert.”

Tickets will go on sale for Montclair Film and NJPAC members at 10 a.m. Oct. 15, and to the general public at 10 a.m. Oct. 17. Visit ticketmaster.com.

“We are incredibly grateful to Conan O’Brien for his support of our mission at Montclair Film,” said Montclair Film artistic director Tom Hall, in a press release. “Throughout his legendary career, Conan’s work has delighted audiences across the globe, and we look forward to a terrific evening when he joins Stephen Colbert for what is sure to be a hilarious conversation. ”

All proceeds will benefit Montclair Film, the nonprofit organization that presents the annual Montclair Film Festival, as well as other events, year-round. This year’s Montclair Film Festival will take place from Oct. 17 to Oct. 26.

Colbert is on Montclair Film’s advisory board and his wife, Evelyn Colbert, is president of its board of trustees. They are longtime Montclair residents.
