After Weeks of Health Rumors, Dolly Parton Breaks Her Silence With a Huge Announcement That No One Saw Coming. ML

It seems Dolly Parton isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
The iconic American country music star, 79, shared a huge announcement with her fans this week, revealing her latest business move.
It comes after the Jolene singer’s sister Freida Parton, 68, sparked concern for the musician when she asked for ”prayers” for the musician after she was forced to postpone some Las Vegas shows due to her health.
Shortly after, Parton put her beloved fans’ ”minds at ease” when she insisted she was doing perfectly fine, declaring, ”I’m not ready to die yet” in an Instagram video.
Now, she’s unveiled her new Nashville SongTeller Hotel and Life of Many Colours Museum, revealing they’re set to open and welcome fans and guests next year.
Ever the businesswoman, Parton appeared in an Instagram video, sharing footage of the pink-inspired premises and telling fans, “Can’t wait to see you next summer!”

Fans were thrilled at the news, with one writing underneath: “Dolly, I am on my way.”
Just weeks ago, Parton revealed she was working and filming commercials for Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry after her sister sparked concerns with her post.
”I’m not ready to die yet,” she told fans in a clip on Instagram.
She addressed online concerns by asking fans with a laugh, “Do I look sick to you?” as she appeared in full hair and make-up in a country and western-inspired outfit, sitting in front of a green screen.
“Anyway, I wanted to put everybody’s mind at ease,” she told fans.
“Those of you that seem to be real concerned, which I appreciate, and I appreciate your prayers, because I’m a person of faith. I can always use the prayers for anything and everything, but I want you to know that I’m OK.”

“I let a lot of things go that I should have been taken care of,” she explained.
“So anyway, when I got around to it, the doctor said, we need to take care of this, we need to take care of that – nothing major.”
Freida, one of Parton’s 11 siblings, also took to social media, clarifying her Facebook comments that started the frenzy.

“I didn’t mean to scare anyone or make it sound so serious when asking for prayers for Dolly,” she wrote in part.
She originally posted: “Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you know she hasn’t been feeling her best lately.”
“I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been lead to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me.
She added: “She’s strong, she’s loved, and with all the prayers being lifted for her, I know in my heart she’s going to be just fine.
“Godspeed, my sissy Dolly. We all love you!”
Dolly previously revealed in a statement that she has been forced to postpone some of her Las Vegas shows later this year due to her health.
The 9 to 5 singer has moved some show dates from December to September next year.
In her statement shared on Instagram, the American star said that she is set to “have a few procedures” done, but didn’t specify exactly what for or how serious they are.
Keeping up her sense of humour in light of her health issues, she joked she wasn’t having plastic surgery.
“As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!”
