CNN anchor and author Jake Tapper will visit the Parma-Snow Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library at 7:30pm Thursday for a ticketed discussion with Ideastream’s Mike McIntyre.
State of play: Each $30 ticket includes a copy of Tapper’s new book, “Race Against Terror,” a work of military reportage chronicling the chase for a member of the terrorist organization Al Qaeda and “reveals the true cost of the War on Terror.”
Zoom out: Tapper, an Emmy-winning journalist and former White House correspondent, has written several thrillers and nonfiction bestsellers, including “The Outpost” and “The Devil May Dance.”
The intrigue: He also wrote, alongside Axios national political correspondent Alex Thompson, the bestseller “Original Sin,” which exposed President Biden’s decline.
