Sunday’s matchup between the Green Bay Packers (9-3-1) and the Denver Broncos (11-2) has all the makings of a heavyweight battle. Two division leaders, both in the thick of the playoff race, squaring off with major postseason implications on the line.

Denver enters the weekend sitting atop the AFC, with a chance to punch its ticket to the playoffs. Green Bay, meanwhile, is clinging to the NFC’s No. 2 seed and trying to hold off challengers in the NFC North.

The good news for the Packers? Some key young weapons are trending in the right direction.

Wide receivers Matthew Golden and Dontayvion Wicks, both of whom had been sidelined with injuries, are expected to be back in the lineup. That’s a boost for an offense that’s been steadily building chemistry around Jordan Love.

But not everything is trending upward-Green Bay’s injury report is a long one, and it paints a mixed picture heading into this crucial Week 15 clash.

Packers Injury Report: Who’s In, Who’s Out, and Who’s on the Fence

Sixteen Packers players showed up on the injury report this week, and while many are expected to suit up, there are still several question marks-and a few confirmed absences-that could impact both sides of the ball.

Good to Go

Let’s start with the positives. Quarterback Jordan Love (left shoulder) is cleared and ready, and that’s obviously the headline.

He’s been playing some of his best football lately, and having him healthy is non-negotiable for Green Bay’s playoff hopes. He’ll have a familiar supporting cast around him, too.

  • Matthew Golden (wrist) and Dontayvion Wicks return to action, giving Love a full complement of young, dynamic receivers.
  • Jayden Reed, Zach Tom, and Jordan Riley are also good to go.
  • Kingsley Enagbare (knee) and Javon Bullard (ankle) are active, giving the defense some needed depth.
  • Aaron Banks was listed for veteran rest and will be available.

That’s a strong group, and it means the Packers will have most of their offensive core intact. But the real drama lies in the “questionable” category.

Game-Time Decisions

The spotlight here is on Josh Jacobs, who’s still dealing with swelling in his knee after getting banged up against the Giants two weeks ago. He gutted out 20 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown last week against Chicago, but he didn’t practice until Friday. That tells you everything-you’re not seeing him until pregame warmups, and even then, it could go either way.

Jacobs has been a steadying force in the backfield, and his ability to grind out tough yards is something Green Bay may desperately need against a physical Broncos front. If he can’t go, the run game becomes a much bigger question mark.

Also questionable:

  • Lukas Van Ness (foot) – a key rotational piece on the defensive line.
  • Kristian Welch (concussion) – special teams and linebacker depth could take a hit if he’s out.
  • Savion Williams (foot) – another depth concern, especially in the trenches.

These are the kind of injuries that may not grab headlines but can tilt the balance in a close game.

Officially Out

Three Packers have already been ruled out:

  • Brenton Cox (groin)
  • Marshawn Lloyd (calf/hamstring)
  • Collin Oliver (hamstring)

While none are starters, these absences chip away at Green Bay’s depth, particularly on special teams and in defensive sub-packages. In a game where every possession could matter, those small margins count.

Broncos Injury Report: Short and (Mostly) Sweet

Compared to Green Bay, Denver’s injury list is short and manageable. Just five names appear, and only two have been ruled out:

  • Ben Powers (OG) and Pat Bryant (WR) won’t play.
  • Mike McGlinchey (OT) is questionable, which could be significant if he can’t go-Denver’s offensive line has been a strength this season.
  • Nate Adkins (TE) and DJ Jones (DT) are both active.

So while the Broncos aren’t at full strength, they’re in a much better spot health-wise than the Packers heading into Sunday.

What to Watch

All eyes will be on Josh Jacobs leading up to kickoff. If he’s active, Green Bay’s offense becomes a lot more balanced and dangerous. If not, the pressure shifts squarely onto Jordan Love and the passing game to carry the load.

And with a playoff berth on the line for Denver-and seeding implications for Green Bay-this one has the feel of a December classic. The Packers are banged up, but they’re not backing down. The Broncos are rolling, but they’ll be tested.

Sunday afternoon can’t come soon enough.
