GREEN BAY – Packers CB Keisean Nixon intercepted Bears QB Caleb Williams’ fourth-and-1 pass into the end zone with 22 seconds left to give Green Bay a 28-21 victory over Chicago on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

With the win, the Packers improved to 9-3-1 and moved into first place in the NFC North, just ahead of the 9-4 Bears. The two teams meet again in two weeks at Soldier Field.

Chicago trailed 14-3 at halftime and 21-11 in the second half but rallied to tie the game at 21 midway through the fourth quarter. The Bears pounded away with their ground game, and Green Bay’s offense went three-and-out twice in the second half.

After the game was tied, the Packers responded with a 65-yard TD drive, capped by a Josh Jacobs run, to retake the lead.

The Bears countered on their final drive with two pass completions of 20-plus yards and eventually got into the red zone. But the Packers stopped a third-and-1 run from the 14, and then on fourth-and-1, Williams rolled left off a play fake and tried to loft a pass for TE Cole Kmet in the end zone. But Nixon was in front of him and leaped for the interception to seal the win.
