⚡ LATEST UPDATE: All eyes may shift to a Phillies prospect poised to make waves during MLB’s Winter Meetings ⚡.DD

The Philadelphia Phillies are in the middle of an important offseason. They are at risk of losing a few key contributors while their championship window is closing.
The front office’s attention will be on keeping Kyle Schwarber in Philadelphia, but that is not all. They also need to find another outfielder, and potentially another catcher if J.T. Realmuto signs elsewhere.
It also would not hurt the club to think about bringing in another arm, especially if Ranger Suarez signs elsewhere. All in all, this club will be kept plenty busy over the offseason.
Phillies’ prospect may be one to watch during MLB’s Winter Meetings
The MLB Winter Meetings take place on December 8 and run through the 11th. Every team will have a representative available, and these representatives will be checking the open market and gauging trade interests.
Bringing in a player via a trade may be something the Phillies should consider. They have the talent in their farm system to do so, and need help right now.
Bleacher Report’s Joel Reuter believes No. 2 prospect Aidan Miller is one to watch here.
“Andrew Painter is the only untouchable prospect in the Phillies system, and with Alec Bohm tendered a contract for 2026 and Trea Turner signed through 2033, Miller has no place in the team’s short-term plans. Their window is closing, so the front office could be in all-in mode this winter.”
Miller does not have a clear path to playing meaningful innings for the Phillies anytime soon. He is the club’s No. 2 prospect, so he could bring in a big-name with the hype that is built around his name.
Miller could help the Phillies bring in another frontline starter or even possibly an outfielder. Maybe Miller and some others could be enough to get the Chicago White Sox‘s attention. They have dangled Luis Robert Jr. in front of other teams for quite a while now.
