⚡ HOT NEWS: Ben Johnson drops a shocking insight on the Packers that could make Bears fans squirm in disbelief.QQ

Bears head coach Ben Johnson knows how efficient Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been this season

It’s a monster week for the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears, with a Week 14 game at Lambeau Field with a division lead at stake. But whether fans want to admit it or not, there’s a lot of respect from both sides. Earlier this week, Bears head coach Ben Johnson showed how much he values what Packers quarterback Jordan Love has done — even if Bears fans aren’t ready to admit how good he’s been.
“It’s going to be a big challenge because their offense is, they can put points up in bunches, the quarterback is playing at such a high level, extremely accurate,” Johnson said. “He’s willing to face, look down the barrel, and take one in the chin while delivering an accurate ball. You saw that last week with the game on the line there, that fourth down. I thought that was one of the better throws I’ve seen all year long from him.”

Respect for the Packers’ defense
While Ben Johnson has been able to quickly build one of the best rushing offenses in the NFL and give quarterback Caleb Williams time to develop under positive circumstances, the head coach knows the Packers’ defense will bring a big challenge.
“This defense, it might be the best defense we’ve seen all year,” Johnson added. “So, all hands on deck. It’s going to take all three phases for us here this week.”
When asked about what was special about the Packers’ defense, it didn’t take long for Johnson to mention edge defender Micah Parsons, who’s had 12.5 sacks this year.
“Personnel wise, they’re pretty loaded across the board,” Johnson explained. “You’ve got multiple guys up front that you have to be aware of. Starting with Micah [Parsons] doing a great job moving around, so it’s hard to get a beat for where he’s going to be. Rashan Gary’s still playing at a high level, and then they’ve got a lot of depth up there too.”
Johnson also talked about the intriguing schematic matchup against Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley.
“Hafley does a great job of making it simple for them,” Johnson said. “And yet, to the offense, it can seem fairly complex, and those guys just go out and they play really fast and that’s what shows up all over the tape.”
Beyond coaching speak, Matt LaFleur and Ben Johnson know how tough this game will be. And with so much on the table, they better be prepared for a big battle.
