His game is tailor made for the Eagles’ aggressive play-style. He thrives in press coverage, allowing his six-foot frame and long arms to disrupt the timing between the receiver and quarterback. At Toledo, he led the nation in pass breakups and his rookie season he ranked third among all defensive backs, according to PFF.

In the past, the Eagles have valued versatility, and Mitchell brings an excess. Mitchell abilities allow him to match up on the outside or rotate into the slot, ultimately giving the coach flexibility against high-powered offenses.
