Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos recreate iconic Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce moments for Halloween
By Jolie Zenna
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos debuted over 60 costumes for 2025 Halloween, encapsulating the biggest pop culture moments of the year — so naturally a few of them were Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
For one of their costumes, the couple did spot-on recreation of Swift’s “New Heights” podcast appearance, with Ripa rocking a long blonde wig with bangs, and Consuelos wearing fake facial hair to match Kelce’s scruff.
They also posed in front of the tight end’s bookshelf that appeared in the record-breaking episode and had several Easter eggs about Swift’s “Life of a Showgirl” album that fans quickly picked up on.

Their ode to 2025’s moments wouldn’t be complete without recognizing the musician and NFL star’s dreamy engagement back in August, so the morning talk show co hosts made sure to dress up as that as well.
The “All My Children” alum wore Swift’s beloved Polo Ralph Lauren dress — which sold out after her engagement pics dropped — and she and Consuelos posed in front of a green screen showing Kelce’s extravagant backyard garden where he popped the question.

This is the third year in a row that the pair dressed up as the power couple for Halloween. Last year, they recreated the now-engaged duo’s outfits from their date at the 2024 US Open.

Ripa looked chic in a red-and-white checkered dress while Consuelos channeled Kelce’s “country club” attire from the outing in a polo shirt, cardigan and beige shorts with a Gucci bucket hat.
For 2023 Halloween, they went with the classic game-day look — Ripa wore fringe, denim shorts, a red bomber jacket, and, of course, red lipstick.
Meanwhile, Consuelos wore a Kansas City Chiefs uniform with Kelce’s number 87 on the jersey, a matching beanie, and a fake mustache.
Retirement home resident, 95, starts his own Taylor Swift fan club
By Jolie Zenna
A 95-year-old retirement home resident started his own Taylor Swift fan club in hopes that the pop star will pay him and his fellow residents a visit.
Frank Urius, of the Remington Heights retirement community in Omaha, Neb., started the club after one of the workers told him she was sad that the singer hadn’t answered any of her fan letters.
“That’s when she said, ‘What am I going to do?’ And I said, ‘I know some people,'” Urius told WCNC Thursday.

“We limited the club to ten [members] originally. And then 20, and now it’s 100.”
“Someone has to sponsor you if you’re not a member of Remington,” he explained, detailing how members join the exclusive fan club.
Swifties from all around the country caught wind of the fan club and began sending the senior citizens gifts like cookies and friendship bracelets.

“It’s really interesting that someone would go through that much trouble to make bracelets for us,” Urius said.
“Please come and see us. We need you very much,” Urius said when asked what message he would send Swift. “And with her permission, I’d give her a hug,” he added sweetly.

The club has plans underway to hopefully make her visit happen. They hand delivered a letter to the Grammy winner through someone who is allegedly in Swift’s inner circle in Kansas City, Mo.
As a lifelong Chiefs fan, Urius also made sure to include personal letters to Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes in the envelope, in hopes that all three of them will make an appearance at Remington.
Jason Kelce fully credits Taylor Swift for ‘New Heights’ episode breaking Guinness World Record: ‘Taylor killed it’
By Jolie Zenna
When it comes to the record-breaking “New Heights” episode featuring Taylor Swift, Jason Kelce doesn’t think he and brother Travis “had much to do with” it’s epic response.
“Taylor killed it,” Jason told USA TODAY on Thursday. “For her to trust us and come on our show and release all that information to the world and to be as open as she was, I think the resounding sentiment to everyone was awesome to see.”
The Aug. 13 episode broke the Guinness World Record for the most concurrent views for a podcast on YouTube, with 1.3 million simultaneous viewers — a fitting number for the singer’s favorite 13.

And has since its release, the episode has surpassed 24 million views.
“Well, I don’t think Travis and I had much to do with that, but I’m just happy that it went well,” the former NFL star said of the achievement.
“More importantly, we’re happy that it went well, ’cause if it wouldn’t have worked out, we would have felt really bad.”

The episode unlocked a whole new demographic for the Kelce brothers whose main fanbase was previously “male sports fans” — whom Swift made sure to playfully call out during her appearance.
Her interview gave fans some insight into Swift and Kelce’s relationship and was also where the pop star announced her long awaited 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
Fans show off their ‘Life of a Showgirl’ costumes for Halloween 2025: ‘#TheCostumeofaShowgirl’
By Jolie Zenna

“The Life of a Showgirl” has taken over Halloween 2025 with fans whipping out their sequins and feathers to celebrate this year.
The official Taylor Nation even called for Swifties to submit their “showgirl-inspired looks” at Taylor Swift’s Eras Archive page and many of them have already shared their costumes on social media using the hashtag #TheCostumeofaShowgirl.
For this new era, many Swifties drew inspiration from the pop star’s “Fate of Ophelia” music video where she stuns in several dazzling looks.

The four-minute clip sees the musical icon cosplaying the titular “Hamlet” heroine, a glamorous synchronized swimmer, a late Hollywood legend and more.
Even though fans couldn’t get their hands on custom Versace and vintage Bob Mackie, they killed it with their interpretations of each character from the music video.
Many fans dressed up as the opening picturesque version of Swift in the video, rocking long locks and a draping white dress.
Others turned up the glam and opted for the full on Marilyn Monroe look, wearing bold makeup and dripping in jewels.
“twinning with my favorite showgirl 🤩 ✨” one fan wrote on X while showing off her costume.
“this showgirl is already dressed and ready for rehearsal #TheCostumeofaShowgirl,” added another.

The CD single features a double-sided cover with new artwork from the set of the “Fate of Ophelia” music video, and it’s only available until Friday at 4 p.m. ET.

One day after releasing her 12th studio album on Oct. 3, Swift dropped eight acoustic recordings as bonus tracks that were available on her website for 24 hours.
“File this under ‘save your best for the finale,'” The Grammy winner penned via Instagram at the time.
“… I think my favorite moments from the tour were the acoustic surprises. So I went back into the studio with Max and Shellback to record acoustic/unplugged versions of a few of the Showgirl songs with brand new vocals and production!”
