Observations:

  • Franklin-Myers is a new addition to Denver’s injury report with a back injury, though he was able to at least participate in limited fashion.
  • Surtain, Dobbins, Singleton, Elliss, and Adkins all missed their second consecutive days of practice, which doesn’t bode well for their availability on Sunday. Being without Surtain and Dobbins in particular would be a major blow for the Broncos.
  • Sherfield took a big step forward on Thursday, going from missing practice to participating in full.

Observations:

  • Worthy popped up on Thursday’s injury report after not being listed on Wednesday. The fact that he was able to at least participate in a limited fashion is positive, but the Chiefs will monitor his ankle injury closely.
  • Karlaftis was limited for the second consecutive day with a thumb injury.
  • Pacheco’s availability for Sunday doesn’t look promising as he missed his second straight practice with a knee injury.
  • Simmons practiced in full again on Thursday. We should find out from coach Andy Reid tomorrow whether or not Simmons showed enough to be ready to play on Sunday.
