Myles Garrett Rumors Swirl, But Is He Really Trying to Leave Cleveland or Is It Just Speculation?.QQ

Dallas Cowboys fans are hoping to hear of a trade for some defensive help, but no new names have come up with the Nov. 4 trade deadline rapidly approaching.
Cleveland Brown Myles Garrett, exactly the edge rusher Dallas covets, is very disgruntled with Cleveland’s losing ways, but despite that, he’s almost certainly not on the trading block.

Jerry Jones came out and said Dallas is not one player away from contending, which does seem to accord with reality. Dak Prescott, meanwhile, took a dive in the MVP rankings after his two-interception day against Denver.
As Dallas gets ready for its Monday Night Football game against the Arizona Cardinals, here’s what’s up.
Myles Garrett
At the end of the Cleveland Browns‘ blowout loss to New England Sunday, their star player, edge rusher Myles Garrett, threw his helmet in frustration, then went off by himself and took a knee. This came after a game in which he had five sacks, and he later expressed displeasure at being pulled from the game.
“Frustrated,” he said. “I want to win. No matter how much time is on the clock, they got their starters in, there’s a chance we can win, I want to be a part of that. I don’t care how dire the situation looks. I want to try to make something happen, so I hate coming out in a situation. I hate that kind of inevitability. And not being able to do anything about it.”
Alas, Dallas fans don’t need to convince themselves that Garrett is trying to force a trade. He did that this past offseason, but then Cleveland gave him a four-year, $160 million deal. Garrett is not on the trade block.

Jerry Jones
The Dallas Cowboys owner reiterated that Dallas is in the trade market, but also sounded a note of reality on his weekly radio show.
“I don’t know what’s realistic,” Jones said. “Could one better player — if we didn’t pay too big a price to have a better player on defense to possibly help? I’m not trying to be cute, but that’s why you’d go get him because you think that you could go help your defense.
“Are we one player away on defense? I think we’re not. I think we’re more than that away, but what we’re closer to than it looks, in my mind, is executing better on defense.”
Dak Prescott
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had his worst game of the season in the 44-24 loss to Denver, going 19-of-31 passing for 188 yards and two interceptions.
He’s still having a great season, but this should end the MVP talk that he had dismissed. For the year, he is 204-for-290 passing with 2,069 yards, 16 touchdowns and five interceptions.
The USA Today MVP rankings now have Prescott 12th at 400-1. Patrick Mahomes leads the way at +140, so 1.4-1.
Dallas Cowboys defense
The Dallas Cowboys defense is terrible. They rank 31st out of 32 teams, ahead of only the Cincinnati Bengals. Defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus should be on the hot seat, but he appears safe for the rest of this week.

Dallas Cowboys injury report
Center Cooper Beebe is questionable, the first time he could play since he was placed on the injured reserve in Week 2 with an ankle injury.
Elsewhere, the situation at safety is dire, which actually has been the case all year, but now that’s because of injuries.
Safety Alijah Clark, an undrafted rookie, got his first start against Denver but is now out with a rib injury and likely to miss the game with Arizona. Safety Donovan Wilson, a normal starter who missed last week with an elbow injury, is likely to be back, while safety Juanyeh Thomas, who missed the Broncos game with a migraine, is questionable.
The first official injury report of the week comes out Wednesday.
