Jimmy Kimmel mocks Trump again — and boldly claims America likes him more than the president.NH

Jimmy Kimmel has carried on with his anti-Trump rants as the late night talk show host bragged about being more popular with Americans than the commander-in-chief.
Kimmel, who was briefly taken off the air on September 17 over comments he made about Charlie Kirk, opened Monday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! show declaring how people prefer him over Donald Trump.
The comedian referred to a recent poll conducted by The Economist and YouGov that surveyed 1,656 American adults on who they favored more.
The talk show host ended up with a 16-point lead over Trump – something he was incredibly proud of.
‘I did get some exciting news this weekend. According to a new poll from YouGov, which is a serious polling site – or they were before this – I am more popular than the president of the United States,’ Kimmel told his audience.
The crowd went wild as Kimmel continued to gloat about his achievement.
‘You remember the guy who keeps saying I have no ratings? Well, that makes two of us. They polled more than 1,000 people, and I lead Trump by 16 points.
‘I’m at plus three, he’s at minus 13,’ he added as the stats showed up on the screen.

The host then took a sharper dig at the president, bringing up his criminal past and relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
‘It’s nice, but considering the fact that I’m not a convicted felon friend of Jeffery Epstein, and I’ve never paid off a porn star, sent a team of mass goons into a park to pull an old lady away from her grand children, I feel like my rating should be higher maybe?
‘At this point, finding a toenail in your salad has a seven point lead over Donald Trump,’ Kimmel added as he trolled Trump further.
‘I hope he doesn’t see this, you know I don’t like to upset him,’ Kimmel said as he quickly paused and the audience chuckled.
Kimmel then read a statement the White House made just hours before his show, mentioning him in comparison to Trump.
The statement read: ‘Over 77 million Americans showed up on Election Day to cast their ballots for President Donald J. Trump, who is delivering on his overwhelming mandate to put America First.
‘Jimmy Kimmel prays every night to garner a fraction of that support to keep his show on the air after ratings dropped 64 percent last week. Sad!’
Kimmel then quipped: ‘You know what else is sad? That the president of the United States has a lower approval rating than Diddy and diarrhea.’

Soon after his show returned to screens with record-breaking ratings, Kimmel averaged 2.3 million just two days later.
As many as 6.5million people tuned to Kimmel on September 25, which was three times the show’s usual audience and the biggest in over a decade.
But it suffered a shocking 64 percent drop since the show returned, Fox News reported.
Notably, Kimmel lost 73 percent of the viewers in the coveted demographic of adults aged 25-54, getting just 465,000.
Typically, Kimmel gets about 1.8 million viewers each night on television. The numbers released by ABC do not include viewership from streaming services.
While Kimmel returned to TV, it was not until days later that Nexstar Media Group and Sinclair Broadcast Group brought Kimmel’s late-night talk show back to their local TV stations, ending a dayslong TV blackout for dozens of cities across the U.S.
Kimmel’s late-night ABC show was yanked off air by Disney after he stated that Kirk’s killer was a Trump supporter. In reality, the assassin was a liberal who seethed with hatred at Kirk over his conservative, Christian ethics, prosecutors allege.
The suspension lasted less than a week, while the affiliate blackout stood for just over a week.

Kimmel gave a tearful 20-minute monologue in his comeback episode, where he claimed he ‘never intended to make light of’ the MAGA icon’s death – and then proceeded to lash out at Trump over censorship.
Kimmel acknowledged his employer of more than 20 years was taking an enormous risk in putting him back on TV.
‘Unfortunately, and I think unjustly, this puts them at risk,’ he said. ‘The president of the United States made it very clear he wants to see me and the hundreds of people who work here fired from their job.
‘Our leader celebrates Americans losing their livelihoods because he can’t take a joke.’
Kimmel broke down when discussing what he said about the assassination of Kirk – but he did not apologize.
‘I have no illusions about changing anyone’s mind, but I do want to make something clear, because it’s important to me as a human and that is, you understand that it was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man,’ Kimmel said, his voice breaking.
‘I don’t think there’s anything funny about it.’
