Chris Jones’ Kansas City Chiefs suffered a 22-19 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 11 on Sunday. It was Kansas City’s second straight loss as the team dropped to a 5-5 record.
The Chiefs need to step up in the final stretch of the regular season, or they could miss out on the playoffs. Nonetheless, amid Kansas City’s struggles, defensive tackle Jones clapped back at some of the criticism against his team via his Instagram story.
On Monday, Jones shared a repost from the Instagram account “The Hip Hop Lab,” which featured a tweet by rapper Kanye West, a.k.a. Ye, on his IG story, which read:
“THEY ACT LIKE YOU CAN’T LOSE A FEW GAMES AND STILL WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.”

Jones has been with the Chiefs since they drafted him in the third round in 2016. He has helped the team reach five Super Bowls and win three.
However, Jones, a six-time Pro Bowler, has not been at his best this season, given his exceptionally high standards. In 10 games for Kansas City, he has posted 15 tackles (seven solo), 3.0 sacks, 5.5 stuffs and one pass defended.
Notably, the Chiefs have made the playoffs in every season that Jones has played with them. The DE will want that streak to continue.
