Blue Jays prospect Trey Yesavage earns unexpected placement in Just Baseball’s Top 100 rankings .MH

Just Baseball released their ranking on the top 100 prospects going into the 2026 season and Toronto Blue Jays rookie Trey Yesavage landed in a great spot.

Yesavage only showed up at the end of the MLB season but was huge for the Blue Jays as many considered him to be their best and most reliable pitcher down the stretch in the post-season.
Trey Yesavage ranked number 6 in top 100 prospect ranking

Just Baseball released their top 100 ranking for the best prospects in baseball heading into the 2026 season which had Yessavage in the number 6 spot across the entire league after only his first season in pro ball.
On top of that, Yesavage was not the only Blue Jays prospect that was ranked as Jojo Parker came in at number 68 while Arjun Nimmala came in at 85.
The player occupying the top spot is Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop prospect Konnor Griffin who played in Double-A this past season.
Yesavage’s value certainly went way up after the playoffs as he was a massive part of the Blue Jays lineup and a big reason they went to game 7 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
While some might be surprised that he is ranked so high after only 1 year, others might be surprised that he is not ranked even high with the performance he put on for the Blue Jays.
