The Toronto Blue Jays saw one of the gutsiest performances of the season as Bo Bichette rushed back from an injury to play in the World Series last month. Bichette was clearly hurting for the entire season, but he gutted it out and found a way to get on the field for the Blue Jays.
But Bichette is a free agent now, and there are bound to be more than a handful of suitors for the star shortstop.
USA Today’s Bob Nightengale recently predicted Bichette would betray the Blue Jays and sign a deal with the Atlanta Braves this offseason.

The Braves came into the season with a lot of expectations, but they fell short and were one of the more disappointing teams in the league. One of the biggest holes on their roster is at shortstop.
Going after Bichette is a no-brainer for the Braves, but it’s hard to imagine they’ll be able to outbid the Blue Jays by much.
Still, the Braves should be considered one of the favorites in this sweepstakes. They have the money to make it happen. They have the fit that makes the idea make sense. Only time will tell if they can steal him from the Blue Jays.
