The 2025 American League Rookie of the Year winner, Nick Kurtz, and his girlfriend, Alison Elia, were among the attendees at Tyler Soderstrom’s wedding with Bailey Kindle on Saturday. The event was held at the Olowalu Plantation House, a historical oceanfront venue in Lahaina, Maui.

For the special occasion, Kurtz’s girlfriend wore a sage colored gown, while the Athletics rookie complemented her outfit in a tuxedo of a similar color.

Allison’s outfit was a halter maxi dress with a long, bias-cut skirt, featuring ruched corded detailing at the bust and cut-out details at the waist. It is made from a silk-touch fabric with a luxurious sheen.

On Tuesday, Kurtz shared pictures from the wedding in a multi-snap post on his Instagram. The couple posed together in the first two snaps of the post.

The final two snaps of the post showed Kurtz posing with his Athletics teammates. Brent Rooker, Daniel Susac, JP Sears, Zack Gelof, and Max Muncy appeared in the third snap of the post. Jacob Wilson and Drew Swift were in the final snap, along with Kurtz, Susac, and Muncy.

“Congrats to the Sodes!” Kurtz captioned the post.

Kurtz’s girlfriend maintains a low profile on social media. Alison presently works as an account coordinator at Horizon Sports & Experiences. She holds an arts degree in communication and media studies from Wake Forest University.

The Athletics dominated the 2025 AL ROY voting as Nick Kurtz won it and his teammate, Jacob Wilson, bagged the runner-up spot. Roman Anthony came third. A few days before the victory was announced, both Wilson and Kurtz were at the wedding of Tyler Soderstrom, another teammate.

Soderstrom’s newlywed wife, Bailey, seemed happy that Nick Kurtz and other Athletics players attended the wedding ceremony. She commented on Kurtz’s Instagram post, highlighting his moments from the wedding.

“soooo happy you guys were able to make it! ❤️,” Bailey wrote.

Tyler Soderstrom has known Bailey for a long time. Soderstrom was even her date for high school prom. Following high school, Bailey joined Arizona State University and graduated with an arts degree.

After years of dating, Soderstrom popped the big question to Bailey by the beach of Maui in November of last year. Both shared the beautiful moment on their Instagrams.
