The Green Bay Packers are on hovering around the 2025 NFL playoff spot in the NFC with just two weeks remaining before the postseason kicks off.

The NFC North team’s dramatic loss to the Chicago Bears effectively put an end to Green Bay’s hopes of winning the division. However, Matt LeFleur and Co. have an even bigger concern now at the quarterback posiiton.

Jordan Love exited Saturday night’s game with a concussion, while Malik Willis is now battling a shoulder injury, per NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

The Green Bay Packers still occupy the seventh seed in the NFC for the time being with their 9-5-1 record. Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions are still in the mix, but need to have a little help from the Packers to swap places.

Love’s absence could be the latest blow to Green Bay’s hopes of making a run in January though. This season, the star quarterback has thrown for over 3,300 yards and 23 touchdown passes.

Willis was highly effective during his backup run against the Bears, but it was clear late in the game that he suffered a few big hits to his shoulder. He finished with 121 passing yards and a touchdown against Chicago.

While Rapoport didn’t disclose the severity of his injury, the Green Bay Packers could be down to a third-string signal caller.
