The Dallas Cowboys have officially been eliminated from the postseason.
Heading into Week 16, the Cowboys needed to win their final three games and the Philadelphia Eagles needed to lose their final three games for Dallas to make the playoffs.
After the Eagles defeated the Commanders, Dallas will head into a game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16 with no playoff future.
While they’re still looking to pick up a win, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb made a surprise appearance ahead of the game.
On Saturday, Lamb attended in the Texas high school state championship in a field suite, supporting a few familiar faces.
“Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb taking in today’s state championships in a field suite. A graduate of Richmond Foster High School, a few of his former coaches were on the Richmond Randle staff in the game earlier today.”
CeeDee Lamb has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL after being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys several years ago, now playing alongside George Pickens and Dak Prescott.
Lamb made the move to the league following a phenomenal college football career with the Oklahoma Sooners.

Throughout the 2025 season, CeeDee Lamb ranks No. 8 in the NFL in receiving yards. Despite missing several games this season due to a concussion and an ankle injury, Lamb has posted three touchdowns and 976 yards on 63 receptions.
