Maren Morris and Jack Antonoff Channel Power and Purpose Into the Striking New Track “Welcome to the End”. ML

Maren Morris teams up with Jack Antonoff for her new track, “Welcome to the End,” the second song on All Things Go’s upcoming compilation album supporting The Ally Coalition.
Written about her own experience as a college dropout, the song transforms personal struggles into a powerful anthem. It’s more than just a collaboration — it’s Maren’s way of using music to share honesty and strength with LGBTQ+ youth and beyond, with Antonoff’s incredible production tying it all together. “I’m so happy All Things Go and I can devote this special song’s release and message to The Ally Coalition, as well as my friend and collaborator Jack Antonoff’s studio initiative to help integrate recording studios into LGBTQ+ youth shelters,” Morris shared in a new statement via her fan club newsletter.
Founded in 2013 by Jack Antonoff and his sister Rachel, The Ally Coalition is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth across the country. Since then, they’ve partnered with artists on tours, campaigns, and events, providing crucial support to nonprofit organizations worldwide. Their efforts not only raise funds but also help amplify voices and create safe, inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ communities.
The compilation, which will be released this fall, features a diverse lineup of original songs and collaborations from artists connected to the All Things Go community. The first track, “Jesus and John Wayne,” a collaboration between googly eyes, Joy Oladokun, and Allison Ponthier, debuted last month and has already struck a chord with listeners. Inspired by Kristin Kobes Du Mez’s bestselling book, the song reimagines faith as a source of healing and radical love, especially for those who have felt marginalized by organized religion.
All Things Go, known for its decade-long legacy of fostering inclusive music festivals, has expanded from Washington, D.C., to New York and will be hosting its inaugural Toronto edition this October. The festival has been intentional in spotlighting female and LGBTQ+ artists, with headliners such as Doechii, Lucy Dacus, Kesha, MARINA, and Kacey Musgraves, among others. This commitment to diversity and community is further strengthened through their partnership with The Ally Coalition, which includes on-site programming and artist-driven engagement at their events.
The Ally Coalition continues to make an impact by leveraging the voices of prominent artists to raise awareness about the systemic challenges facing LGBTQ+ communities. This year, TAC is touring with a remarkable roster including Joy Oladokun, Ethel Cain, Remi Wolf, and Trixie Mattel, amplifying their message across the country.
The All Things Go compilation stands as a testament to the power of music to not only entertain but also to inspire real change. With “Welcome to the End,” Maren Morris and Jack Antonoff have contributed a track that’s both deeply personal and purpose-driven — a perfect fit for this meaningful project.
Fans can listen to ‘Welcome to the End’ now, with all proceeds from the compilation going to support The Ally Coalition’s vital work.
