Country star Luke Combs is teasing a special present for his fans coming soon, sharing a major look at a new song called “Giving Her Away.”
On Nov. 26, Combs shared a photo likely taken in the recording studio, with black headphones resting on top of a sheet of paper with the lyrics of the new song on it. At the top, the page had names of people who are likely the writers of the song: Josh Phillips, Gary Garris, and Josh Mirenda.

While the headphones covered a good portion of the lyrics, some sections that were readable included “I’m giving her my name,” “you’re hurting behind that smile,” and “do my best to fill your shoes,” all of which hint at the story of the song.
Combs simply wrote in the caption, “Soon,” successfully getting fans all riled up and excited.
This actually isn’t the first time Combs teased “Giving Her Away,” as a week ago, he posted a long preview of the song. In the audio clip, Combs sings from the point of view of a man about to get married to their love, talking to her father as he gives her away.
The last lyric in the clip went, “Man, you brought your baby. I brought a ring and I’m giving her my name and you’re giving her away.”
