John Foster and Wayne Toups Set to Headline the 2025 Christmas Under the Oaks Celebration. ML
Sulphur, Louisiana (KNGT-FM)– It’s never too early to look ahead to the Christmas season or some of the events that will take place for the holidays. For years, one of the biggest Southwest Louisiana holiday traditions has been Christmas Under the Oaks in Sulphur.
On Wednesday, organizers announced the 2025 entertainment lineup, and it’s a weekend you won’t want to miss!
This marks the 23rd year of the event, and it’s one family’s look forward to every year. There will be live music, carnival rides, great food, shopping, and even a 100% chance of snow!
The weekend begins with a Preview Party on Thursday, December 4, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 and must be purchased in advance. Guests can enjoy food, drinks, live music, and early shopping from more than 30 local artists and vendors.

- Friday, December 5: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Saturday, December 6: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
The fun continues all weekend with carriage rides along Pecan Street, a carnival, and the Sulphur Kiwanis Club Christmas Parade at 11 a.m. Saturday, featuring Santa’s arrival. The Christmas tree lighting happens Friday at 8 p.m., and don’t miss the snowfall at 8:30 p.m. Saturday night!
Christmas Under the Oaks and Holiday House return Friday and Saturday, December 5–6, 2025, at The Grove at Heritage Square and the Brimstone Museum, located at 923 South Ruth Street in Sulphur.
Money raised from the event goes to the Brimstone Historical Society, which works to keep Southwest Louisiana’s history alive and share it with the community.
